We're back this Spring with stellar line-up of games and street food

Gather your pals and take on Roof East’s classic games, including Sluggers batting cages, Birdies Crazy Golf, Arrows - the archery game which tests your agility and precision - and Glitter Bowls, which combines everything we love about Neon and Disco with lawn bowls. There is also everyone's favourite endurance challenge, Beat the Bar, which involves testing your upper body strength by seeing who can hold onto the Roof East Hang Bar for the longest time.

New for 2023 Roof East will have its free games area which will pit friends head to head at giant Jenga, Kub, and Connect Four, with Cornhole and Table Tennis also on offer.

London’s beloved cinema in the sky, Rooftop Film Club, will return to Roof East this spring, bringing you unbeatable views, sensational sunsets, and starlit evenings alongside a handpicked curation of cult hits and classics. Film themes for the month of May will include Freaks and Geeks, and Killer 90s Soundtracks. Tickets for the cinema launch on 28th March and for more on programming, check here.

Built up an appetite from all the activities? Roof East offers a delicious selection of street food vendors - so grab whatever takes your fancy. Back by popular demand, Piddaji will be slinging Pide (pronounced Pea-deh) - traditional boat shaped flatbreads from Turkey cooked in a wood burning oven. The team will also be churning out its Shawarma menu and authentic Turkish small plates, including hummus, chicken ezme, halloumi fries, and more.

Also returning to the roof for the 2023 season is award-winning Cheeky Burger, a staple at street food markets across the country offering mouth-watering beef, chicken or vegan burgers, stacked high with the freshest ingredients, more-ish sides and the most satisfying of sharing platters.

Last but not least in Roof East’s foodie lineup is Papi Chulo, an authentic Mexican food concept drawing inspirations from real street taquerias in Mexico. Their motto is “pura cualidad” which means pure quality so expect nothing but the best.

Quench your thirst and toast the summer with drinks from one of Roof East’s five bars which will serve a selection of beer, wine and spirits, as well as cocktails, soft drinks and mocktails. Cocktails include Roof East’s take on an aperol spritz - the Britz Spritz - with lashings of Beefeater gin mixed with elderflower, apple, fresh citrus, cucumber, and prosecco. Or if rum’s your preferred tipple, there’s Yellow Bird with Havana 7, Havana 3, Havana Cuban Spiced, Galliano, Banana, Orange, and Pineapple.

Throughout the summer, Roof East will host regular events, with its famous Jenga Championships set to return and a special event for Eurovision. The jam-packed schedule will also include dance classes by The Curve Catwalk and regular pub quizzes with The Big Fat Quiz Company.

Looking for something a little different for a birthday venue? Roof East has you covered with small and large spaces available to book. The Cabanas are decorated in Roof East’s signature bright colours and hold up to 25 people, with The Dugout, The Pavillion, and Summer House ideal for bigger events and work summer parties.

Suicide prevention organisation Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is Roof East’s charity partner this year. Guests will be able to make an optional donation at checkout, and there will also be a special cocktail where 50p from each sale will be donated to CALM’s life-saving work. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. CALM exists to change this - by offering life-saving support, creating culture changing campaigns, and by bringing people together across the country to reject living miserably.
